Responsibilities Follow up with production orders - lead time of fabric samples, H/L, S/O, LD, fabric bulk Follow up the fabrics and accessory development together with a HQ designer department and garment merchandiser team in Shanghai officeMonitoring prices trends for fabric and yarn, creating and updating the fabric database Daily communication with a present base of fabric suppliers, analyze of fabric and accessories price level, quality, trends Outsourcing of different types of fabrics through all the possible resources - internet, fabric mills, exhibitions etc Supporting Merchandiser Group for fabric suppliers issues Daily report to Fabric sourcing manager Qualifications 2+ years working experience in fabrics sourcing & development or similar strong background on fabric sourcing Bachelor degree in Textiles Understanding of Textile information - spinning, weaving, dyeing and finishing, development process knowledge is essential ; good knowledge of fabric costing and fabric inspection standardsFluent in both oral and written English(at least CET-4) Excellent MS Office skills Self-motivated & able to work under pressure
